REVIEW: I've had the pleasure of getting three tattoos from Marisa, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Not only are her tattooing skills top-notch, but her shop is also a welcoming and aesthetically adorable place. My parents, who are typically not fans of tattoos, loved the ones Marisa did for me. Her collection of flash options is unmatched, and her friendly personality makes the whole process feel like you're hanging out with a close friend. If you're looking for a talented and personable tattoo artist, Marisa is the one to go to!

REVIEW: From the moment of filling out our inquiry to the day of our appointment Marisa was very clear in communication, expectations, and consent. She was very excited about the custom Ideas I had for the design and she then incorporated them into her specialty. From the moment we walked into the studio, till the end of our session she made sure to check on my comfort, my readiness for continuing the tattoo (it was a hefty side of the head tattoo, full color and shading) and let me stop for a few breaks due to needing to re-hydrate or eat a snack.

This tattoo artist is the most amazing human I have ever met and I hope to be booking with her again in the future!

REVIEW: Marisa is the sweetest! When I arrived she had my artwork drawn, took time to discuss any changes and color options. She checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing and if I needed a break. She is easy to talk to and felt like chatting with an old friend. REVIEW: Marisa is absolutely AMAZING! I had a strange tattoo concept and she made it gorgeous and fun - her design and her style is wonderful, not to mention, she is so easy to talk to!! Her space is super cozy and inviting, and the atmosphere is just what I’d want from a tattoo studio/artist. You definitely feel comfortable around her almost immediately, and her creativity, passion, and amazing personality just make it all perfect! I will absolutely be referring everyone I know and will 100% be back (hopefully soon) for more!

REVIEW: Marisa has done 2 tattoos and counting on me, and I cannot speak highly enough of her skill as an artist and her gem of a soul. In terms of the tattoo, she captured my desires perfectly and ensured that the process was collaborative from beginning to end. Wearing her art is such a privilege—one of my pieces is on my arm and flows down onto my hand, and I get compliments all the time. I even got compliments from two grandmas (one of whom is my own, and she capital H hates tattoos) about how pretty it was. Need I say more? Marisa created a space for me where I felt not only safe and welcomed, but one that was relaxing and empowering. Without a doubt, she’s created the two best tattooing experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m stoked for more!

REVIEW: As a disabled queer person, Marisa made me feel nothing but comfortable in her studio. She maintained active communication through the entire process and accommodated my needs throughout; she encouraged breaks if I needed, offered snacks/drinks, and periodically checks in to ensure the comfort of her clients. The studio itself is kept VERY clean/sanitary and has a very laid back, no pressure energy. She consistently advocates for the autonomy of her clients and allows space for them to speak up/make changes without judgement. Not to mention she makes exceptional artwork and is literally so funny and kind!!! I am so happy with the two pieces I already have from her and I am excited to continue working with her.

REVIEW: Marissa is the NICEST soul I have ever met, she’s funny very caring for all her clients and wants to make sure they feel the most comfortable they can be. Especially in a tattoo shop where things can be daunting, Marissa makes sure to make everyone feel comfy and at home. She is an amazing artist and truly cares about her work and again her clients. She has a gentle hand as well, which also makes the process much smoother. The environment/energy around her shop is so warm and welcoming, I’d go just to hangout and not get tattooed. I cannot recommend her enough, she is one of a kind and truly the best !!!

REVIEW: Both times I've been tattooed by Marisa, she has made the process extremely easy. She really makes it a priority to make you as comfortable as possible. It is obvious she takes a lot of time in creating your design and she makes it very easy to make adjustments. Throughout both of my tattoos, I was often offered breaks and had generally good conversation. She does amazing work and is just as great with the clients. I couldn't recommend her more!

REVIEW: This was my first time being tattooed by Marisa and from the first initial greeting I knew this would be the best tattoo appointment I have ever had. Marisa took the time to draw up many mock ups of different version of my design so I was 100% happy with what I was putting my on body. Not once did she get annoyed and was more than happy to keep showing me more. When she was actually tattooing me, she made excellent conversation, and would always ask if I am ok, or if I need a break. I thought that was so nice considering my past artists never asked if I needed a break or anything. She made me feel so comfortable and her studio definitely gives me a welcoming vibe, along with her. She gave me the best tattoo I could ever ask for, and I am so so happy I found her. As soon as I saw my design I wanted to cry it was so CUTE. I recommend Marisa to everyone, and if you are considering going to her, just book the appointment because she is the best and you will have a rad tattoo along with very good conversation and laughs!
